Best Professional SLR Digital Cameras

I am a teenager and i have a birthday coming up. I am a beginner but I would like to take photography a little more seriously. I dont know much about cameras, but i am highly interested. money is a little bit of an issue, so cheaper would be better. my cousin has a nikon d40x and she loves it. she highly recommends a nikon. what do you think would be the best camera?

I’m a fashion promotion student specialising in photography as I want photography to be my career.
To earn money when I graduate I understand I will have to broaden my skills into journalistic as well as portrait etc photography.
The current camera I have is a Canon powershot A640, its a good simple 10 megapixel camera but I need something more professional. I have used media format and SLR camera’s in the past so now Im thinking Digital SLR.

My friend has a Nikon digital SLR and its lush, a really good camera. Does anyone have any tips on the best Nikon SLR on a budget of £300-£600? Thanks!

I have a Nikon D40, and i’ve been searching amazon for new lenses, i found a lot of good ones at a good price, but they aren’t Nikkor lenses.

Would they damage my camera?

cameras like nikon d40x and canon EOS 400D/ digital rebel XTi….caeras like that. im looking to buy a camera probably on ebay for around $500 but i need to know what things to look for in a action camera.

Any info you could provide me with would be awesome! I’m buying my first SLR Camera, and have read that the D60 is a great one for beginners. But i’ve been looking and I can’t really tell the difference between the D60 and the D80 , except for the price range. Which would you recommend?

I have been taking photos off and on for about 17 years now. I am starting to do more photography part time and am getting jobs taking photos of youth sports, both posed and action photos. Also I am having people asking me about senior photos. I am looking at purchasing a Nikon D40, D40X or D80. My funds are tight, so I was wondering if I really need the D80 and if the 40’s will work?
